Great artists are also your neighbors.
Senior living with countless options for adventure.
At Middlewoods, we go places! Your options are wide open where senior living means getting out and tasting life. Join us as we catch a Broadway hit or the Hartford Symphony at the Bushnell Memorial, or thrill to inventive stagecraft at Hartford Stage and Theatreworks. World renowned musicians and singers regularly appear at Hartford's XL Stadium. Classical, pop, jazz… it’s all here. We have a concert subscription to the Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra and we go to the quarterly concerts. Nurse Ginny is the first chair violin!
Art lovers will thrill to the collections at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, the New Britain Museum of American Art and the Hill-Stead Museum—homes to the works of Monet, Degas, Renoir, Norman Rockwell, Andrew Wyeth and Sol LeWitt—a mere fraction of the great names in close proximity.
Huckleberry Finn and Uncle Tom’s Cabin both came from the same Hartford neighborhood: You can tour the magnificent Victorian homes of their authors, Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe, and transport yourself to another time.
